Exercising the feet can improve strength and flexibility in the toes and develop better balance. When the muscles and ligaments in the feet are misaligned, it creates a chain reaction of misalignment throughout the entire body. If you can make your feet muscular and more flexible, you will create a better base system for your whole body.
Foot Exercise #1
Point all ten toes upward; keep the heel rooted to the ground. Focus on the big toes, press them down and touch the ground, and then point them up again. Repeat eight times. Then do the same movement eight times with the pinkie toes. To finish, alternate the gesture between the big toes and pinky toes eight times.
Foot Exercise #2
Start by lifting and lowering your toes to loosen up; keep the heel rooted to the ground. Try to raise your pinkie toe to the same level as your big toe.
Repeat four times. Next, lift all toes and spread them like a fan, as wide as you can four times.
Foot Exercise #3
While sitting down, lift your feet so that they do not touch the floor. Then, point your toes and use your feet to write the letters of the alphabet in the air. Make sure to lead with your big toe.
Foot Exercise #4
Sit and place both feet flat on the ground. Arrange 20 marbles and a bowl on the floor in from of you. Then, using your toes, pick up one marble at a time and drop it into the bowl. Continue until all the marbles have been put into the bowl.
